My client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, fault-finding and repairing air conditioning systems across various sites. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge, with excellent communication and customer service skills. The ideal applicant will have experience in equipment repair and maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency of all air conditioning units.
Duties:
- Service and repair a wide range of air conditioning systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably
- Troubleshoot issues and diagnose faults accurately and independently
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all operations, including the handling of refrigerants
- Assist in the planning and execution of projects involving HVAC systems
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance purposes
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in air conditioning installation, maintenance, and repair
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems
- Experience in equipment repair within a variety of environments is necessary
