Air Conditioning Engineer
£35k-£42k doe
Company based in East Lancashire
My client is based in Blackburn and due to continued expansion, they currently have a great opportunity for an experienced air conditioning and/or air source heat pump engineer to cover Lancashire and the surrounding areas.
Main Duties
- Installation and commissioning of air conditioning systems, including small splits, VRV\’s and air source heat pumps.
- To provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction.
- Ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.
- To take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management, as necessary.
- To ensure that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents / records are maintained accurately.
- Working in a safe manner, at all times, complying with current Health & Safety legislation and their H&S policy.
Required Certifications
- NVQ level 2 – Air Conditioning – Preferred although not a necessity
- F-Gas Qualifications – Essential
- Skill Card
- Previous experience working within Air Conditioning
- Full driving licence

- Customer focused individual with proactive approach to working
- Ability to work on own initiative and or as part of a team
- Ability to work safely at all times and the ability to understand contract and Health & Safety requirements/regulations
- Possess effective communication skills with ability to write technical reports and communicate verbally with supervisor, manager, and customers
- Ability to use electronic handheld devices.
- Ability to identify issues or risks that require escalation as necessary to Supervisor or Manager.
