Our client based near Stamford are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Senior Architectural Technologist on a full‑time permanent basis. This role offers flexible working hours and home working opportunity. This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of a progressive company working on a diverse range of projects and be part of a growing team.
As a Senior Architectural Technologist you will demonstrate strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a positive, proactive attitude. You will be involved across all key stages of the design process, from project inception through to construction and delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret and develop client briefs into practical design solutions
- Produce accurate and detailed construction drawings in line with current UK Building Regulations
- Manage drawings through planning and building regulations approval processes
- Prepare detailed works instructions, material specifications, and schedules
- Maintain and manage drawing registers
- Liaise with clients, installation teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Support contract administration and project coordination activities as required
- Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology
- Minimum 5 years’ industry experience with strong working knowledge of UK Building Regulation
- Proven on‑site experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in AutoCAD (2D – 2011 onwards)
- Knowledge of SketchUp desirable but not essential
- Full UK driving licence and access to own transport
- Very competitive salary based on experience and ability
