Overview
Are you an experienced Workshop Engineer? Our client based in West Bromwich is seeking a Workshop Engineer to join them on a permanent full-time basis working Monday to Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm.
Responsibilities
- Work in a busy workshop environment
- Problem solving and mechanical and electrical fault finding on construction machinery / plant machinery
- Servicing and repairing of equipment
- You will be involved in pre delivery inspections
- Checking new machines, fixing attachments, checking tyres, oil levels, etc.
- You will also carry out yard duties including the checking in of machines, unloading lorries, maintaining a clean and tidy workshop
Skills required
- To be considered for the role of Workshop Engineer, you will have:
- At least 12 months recent experience in a similar role
- Servicing and repair experience of construction machinery / plant machinery or similar
- You will enjoy working as part of a team
- You will have excellent communication skills, be hard working and reliable
- Own transport required
