Our client based near Boston is seeking a Trainee Transport Planner to join them on a permanent basis working either Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday 9 hours per day on dayshift (45 hours per week). This could be 6am – 6pm (1 hour breaks). As Trainee Transport Planner, you will be fully trained to be responsible for planning & routing drivers and vehicles, ensuring maximum efficiency is met, gain knowledge of tachographs, drivers regulations & WTD legislation. You will be required to document driver information, deal with product returns, booking collections and deliveries. Previous transport / logistics support experience is essential for this role. To be considered for the role of Trainee Transport Planner you must have at least 6-12 months transport / logistics experience within a fast-paced environment where you have been in driver de-briefing, tracking vehicles, etc. You will thrive on working as part of a team, have a good sense of humour and be hungry to grow and develop in your role and career. Own transport is essential to be considered for this role. In return, for the role of Trainee Transport Planner, our client is offering £30,000 as a starting salary and once trained and proficient in the role, the salary will be subject to increase to reflect level of experience, 28 days annual leave, pension, company uniform, on site parking.
