Do you have stock control experience? Are you seeking a new challenge in a progressive and growing company? Our client based near St. Ives is looking to recruit a full time permanent Stock Controller. You will be working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm, with some overtime as and when required (40 hours per week).

As Stock Controller, you will be involved day to day with the following duties:

  • Receive incoming stock into the warehouse
  • Allocate stock and manage inventory on the company warehouse management system
  • Place new stock into their allotted stock locations
  • Check the incoming stock for quality and compliance, reporting any defects or damages
  • Keep stock organised at all times
  • Perform stock audits and stock counts
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in stock forecasting
  • Adhere to Health & Safety policies and regulations
  • You will be required to operate material handling machinery such as forklift, pallet trucks, etc.
  • Support in the picking of orders during busy periods
  • Work collectively as part of a team

Skills Required:

  • Previous experience in a similar stock related role is essential
  • You must be physically fit as heavy lifting will be involved
  • Our client is seeking someone with stability on their CV
  • Forklift certificate desirable but not essential
  • Good communication skills
  • A good team player
  • Own transport is essential due to location
