Our superb client, based in St. Neots is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join them on a full time permanent basis working 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
As Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of technicians
- Recruitment for your team
- Developing coaching and mentoring
- Taking responsibility for the design of products
- Project installation
- Providing technical advice to customers and suppliers
- Product development
- Ensuring product and process compliance
- Attending supplier meetings and site visits in both the UK and overseas
- Other related duties
To be considered for the role, it is essential that you hold Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or equivalent, hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or have equivalent experience), and have a practical understanding of structural design, construction, scaffolding, temporary works and related sectors. You should also have experience of managing and developing an engineering team, possess strong communication and relationship building skills, and be commercially aware with strong engineering management experience.
In return, our client is offering a starting salary of £55,000 - £75,000 depending on experience, 25 days paid annual leave plus statutory holidays, pension, discretionary bonus scheme, onsite parking, life assurance, career development, occasional overseas travel and much more.
