Our brand-new client, based in St.
Neots is seeking an experienced and qualified CAD Technician to join them on a full time permanent basis working 8.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
- As CAD Technician, you will be responsible for:-
- Creating 2D and 3D drawings, technical brochures, 3D animations and documentation using Auto CAD and Autodesk
- Develop and maintain Auto CAD and Sketchup libraries
- Ensure that all documentation meets quality and industry standards / regulations
- Working closely with suppliers and consultants on product development
- Produce calculation competency for structures.
- Developing knowledge of industry wide standards in a number of different countries. To be considered for the role of CAD Technician you will:-
- Have strong Auto CAD practical experience for at least 5 years
- Hold OND / HND (or equivalent) in a relevant related subject
- Hold a professional membership such as IEng / Eng Tech
- It is essential that you have experience in structural steel / formwork, and construction and manufacturing knowledge and experience.
- Experience of using Autodesk Design and Manufacturing Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work to deadlines and to work as part of a closeknit team.
In return, for the role of CAD Technician, our client is offering a starting salary of £35,000 - £45,000 (depending on level of experience), pension, 25 days paid annual leave plus statutory holidays, discretionary bonus scheme, onsite parking, career development, occasional travel to client meetings and site locations (some International) and the chance to join a growing organisation.
