Are you an experienced Warehouse Supervisor looking for a fresh new challenge or are you a Warehouse Team Leader that has deputised looking for the next step up? Our client based in Peterborough is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join them on a full time permanent basis working 8.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a small team of warehouse operatives
- Responsible for the day to management of the warehouse
- Allocating work to the team
- Purchasing materials
- Ensuring products are made to order and specification
- Stock control and conducting stock takes
- Ensuring health & safety best practice
- Ensuring an efficiently run warehouse & workshop operation
Skills required
- Previous warehouse supervisory experience and overseeing a small team is essential
- Strong leadership skills
- Highly organised and able to work under pressure
- Hold a valid forklift licence and a full driving licence with your own transport
