Our superb client, with offices based in Huntingdon, is seeking an Apprentice People Coordinator to join them on a full time permanent basis working 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday. This is a great opportunity to join a growing organisation.
Responsibilities
- Support a busy HR team and assist with general HR administration tasks
- Prepare contracts of Employment and offer letters
- Maintain HR/employee records and process starters and leavers
- Handle payroll amendments and pre-employment checks (e.g., DBS renewals, occupational health, credit checks)
- Update HR policies and maintain the HR email inbox
- Conduct exit interviews and contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes
- Assist with other HR-related duties as required
Requirements / Qualifications
- Interest in starting a career in HR administration
- Ideally some experience within an office administration environment
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work to deadlines and perform well under pressure
