Our brand new client, with offices based in Mansfield, is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join them on a full-time permanent basis working Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.15pm. This position will take over an existing caseload from a fee earner that is going on maternity leave and will remain a permanent position on their return when you will retain those clients.

As Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload, including:

  • Preparing draft contracts, reviewing contracts and title documents
  • Carrying out property searches (local authority, drainage, environmental, etc.)
  • Raising enquiries with the seller’s solicitor
  • Advising clients on legal risks or restrictions
  • Reviewing mortgage offers and complying with lender requirements
  • Exchanging contracts
  • Completing the purchase
  • Registering ownership and mortgages with HM Land Registry
  • Responding to buyer enquiries
  • Redeeming existing mortgages
  • Handling exchange and completion
  • Transferring sale proceeds
  • Handling leasehold, freehold, new build, shared ownership transaction.

To be considered for the role of Residential Conveyancing Solicitor you will be:

  • A qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrable experience in handling residential conveyancing matters independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with a commitment to professional growth and development.

In return, for the role of Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, my client is offering a salary of c£38,000 - £40,000, generous discretionary bonus, holiday leave entitlement of 24 days plus 2 days at Christmas, BUPA, 4% pension contribution, parking costs, social events and much more.
