Responsibilities:

  • Residential Conveyancing: Manage and oversee residential property transactions from inception to completion, including sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold properties, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
  • Client Liaison: Provide exceptional client service, ensuring clear and timely communication. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, offering guidance and support throughout the process.
  • Document Drafting and Review: Prepare legal documents including contracts, leases, and transfer deeds. Review and negotiate terms in line with client needs.
  • Due Diligence: Undertake necessary searches, surveys, and investigations to ensure properties are legally compliant and meet the client’s expectations.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with the latest regulations, including the Land Registration Act and other relevant laws and best practices within the conveyancing industry.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the property team and assist with the mentorship of junior lawyers or paralegals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 2 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) as a Residential Property Lawyer, with a solid track record in managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters.
