Our client based near to St. Ives is seeking an Internal Export Sales Executive to join them on a full time permanent basis working Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm, with an earlier finish on a Friday! This is a great opportunity to join an established local business who offer training and career progression.
Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients, maintaining relationships and following up leads/call plans for new business.
- Providing technical advice and support to clients.
- Securing orders and maximising sales opportunities by upselling and cross-selling where possible.
- Attending internal sales support meetings.
- Keeping accurate client records, scheduling follow-up calls accurately, etc.
- Assisting with trade shows and site visits as required; there may be opportunities to travel overseas attending exhibitions and meeting with distributors as required.
- Developing product knowledge.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet and achieve/exceed sales targets.
Skills required
- Strong outbound telephone sales including prospecting/cold calling and strong customer service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superb attention to detail.
- Confident, with the ability to converse at all levels.
- Own transport is required due to location.
- You will speak a second language fluently in addition to English.
