Our superb client based in Huntingdon is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join them on a permanent basis working 8.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday. As HSE Advisor, you will be responsible for providing advice and support to the management team to improve safety performance across the business, support HSE matters/incidents, and advocate continuous improvement.
You will provide full investigations to understand root cause analysis and roll out measures to avoid future recurrences. You will carry out site visits across the business with the senior management team, promote and adopt new HSE strategies, ensure relevant systems and databases are updated and information recorded, follow up after audits, ensuring legal compliance, adhering to company standards and regulations, prepare risk assessments, conduct audits, inspections, and investigate accidents, along with many more related and relevant HSE duties.
To be considered for the role of HSE Advisor, you will have:
- A minimum of 5 years working within the construction sector in a HSE role
- Experience with ISO 19001 and 45001
- NEBOSH Construction or General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Great problem-solving ability
- Strong working knowledge of site-based H&S practices
