Our client based near St. Ives is seeking a Health & Safety Officer to join them on a full time permanent basis working Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.30am - 5.00pm. This is a great opportunity to join an established local business who offer training and career progression.
Responsibilities
- Undertaking inspections on site
- Conducting performance monitoring and compliance
- Ensuring staff / employees adhere to H & S practices
- Producing Health & Safety reports
- Conducting risk assessments
- Assisting with compilation of the company Health & Safety strategy
Skills required
- Nebosh Level 3 or equivalent
- Experience of creating and maintaining H & S policies, processes and risk assessments
- A background within warehousing / logistics / manufacturing or similar
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to converse at all levels
- Own transport is required due to location
