Our client is seeking a Trainee Fire & Flood Restoration Technician to join them on a full‑time permanent basis working 39 hours per week Monday to Friday starting on site at 8:00 am. The role offers the chance to work paid overtime during busy periods throughout the year. A full driving licence is essential for consideration.
Responsibilities
- Strip out fixtures and fittings from residential properties following floods and fires
- Set up drying equipment, heat pads, etc., and collect equipment
- Undergo full on‑the‑job training to become a certified Fire & Flood Restoration Technician
- Complete relevant courses and certifications to complement the role
Qualifications
- Background in a builder, labourer, or construction‑type role with experience working with building materials
- Strong customer‑facing skills and experience in installations, removals, or similar tasks
- Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel across the whole EX postcode area to customer properties
- Ability to travel to the client’s closest depot for the final interview stage
