We are seeking a skilled and motivated Private Client Lawyer to join our clients established team in Ely, working 8:45 am – 5:00 pm. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced solicitor or legal executive with a strong background in private client work who is looking to progress their career within a supportive and reputable practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied caseload of private client matters, including wills and estate planning, probate and estate administration, trust creation and administration, lasting powers of attorney and Court of Protection matters.
  • Provide clear, tailored and empathetic legal advice to a broad range of clients.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a high level of client care.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including networking and marketing initiatives.
  • Keep up to date with developments in legislation and best practice to ensure compliance and excellent service delivery.

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrable experience in handling private client matters independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with a commitment to professional growth and development.
