Perl Developer

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Expand and support the patch tooling used for reporting, tracking vulnerabilities, automation for patch deployment and data gathering
• The engineer would work alongside the rest of the Unix Engineering and patching team and assist with the group’s objectives.

Your Skills and Experience:

• Perl development and testing skills
• Requirement gathering experience
• Experience of API definition
• Experience in front end web development including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Experience of SQL, database tuning
• Understanding of the pros and cons of compile-to-JavaScript languages.
• Agile practices, test driven development, test automation and continuous delivery.
• Experience with source code control products such as BitBucket, Git, Jira
• Experience defining / documenting standards and processes in a large Enterprise environment.
• University/comparable degree (or equivalent).
