The .NET Architect will be responsible for defining, designing, and governing the architecture of enterprise scale .NET applications supporting Our Client's insurance platforms. The role requires strong hands-on architecture skills, deep understanding of Microsoft technologies, and experience working in regulated insurance environments.
Responsibilities:
- Own end to end application architecture for .NET based systems across development, integration, and deployment.
- Define solution architecture, technical standards, and design guidelines aligned to Our Client's enterprise architecture.
- Lead modernization initiatives including legacy system transformation to cloud ready and scalable architectures.
- Provide architectural governance across development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and vendors to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Review and approve high level and low level designs (HLD/LLD).
- Guide teams on performance optimization, security, scalability, and resilience.
- Support production issues, root cause analysis, and technical risk mitigation.
- Mentor senior developers and act as a technical escalation point.
Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in .NET Framework / .NET Core / ASP.NET / C#
- Experience with Microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, data modeling, and performance tuning
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud (App Services, Functions, APIs, Storage, CI/CD)
- Experience with DevOps practices (Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines)
- Strong understanding of security principles (authentication, authorization, encryption)
- Experience with integration patterns, messaging, and middleware
Good to Have:
- Experience in Insurance domain (Claims, Policy, Billing systems)
