Location: Sheffield, Hybrid
Job Description
Primary skills: QA Testing Automation, REXX, JCL, z/OS
Nice to have: Basic understanding of Ansible, Basic understanding of Batch Scheduling software (IBM Z Workload Scheduler, CA7 Workload Automation, Control-M, ZEKE)
Responsibilities:
Write manual test cases and develop automation covering each case
Write test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures based on requirements and specifications provided
Perform workflow analysis and recommend improvements
Collaborate with subject matter experts, product owner and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of test cases and test automation
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process, uplifting it as per industry standards
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in mainframe testing
Strong knowledge of coding with REXX and JCL language
Ability to perform application testing of a closed source product
Knowledge of test automation tools, methodologies, and standards
Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking skills
Working knowledge of Confluence and Jira
Nice to have:
Ability to maintain control over project responsibilities
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Knowledge of banking industry
