Job Description: Service Now Developer (HRSD)

Role summary
We are looking for an experienced Service Now Developer to support and extend our HR Service Delivery (HRSD) platform.
The role focuses on designing, configuring, and developing HRSD solutions across the employee lifecycle, with strong emphasis on quality, automation, and scalable design.
Key responsibilities
- Design, configure, and develop solutions on the Service Now platform, with primary focus on HRSD (HR Case Management, HR Services, COEs, record producers, lifecycle events).
- Implement end-to-end solutions including business rules, client/server scripts, UI actions, Flow Designer, and Service Catalog.
- Build and maintain automated tests using Service Now ATF, ensuring regression coverage and platform stability.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other engineers to define implementation approaches and deliver backlog items.
- Support production stability through defect fixing, performance tuning, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to secure, compliant, and well-documented solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
- Required skills and experience
- Hands-on Service Now development experience, ideally 3+ years.
- Strong experience with HRSD module, including HR services, case management, COEs, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Solid knowledge of Service Now core components: Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Actions / UI Policies, Flow Designer & legacy workflows, ACLs, notifications, reports and dashboards.
- Test automation experience with Service Now ATF, including designing, maintaining, and executing automated tests.
- Proficiency in Java Script; HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.
- Experience working in agile delivery teams.

- Service Now certifications, such as CSA, CAD, or CIS-HRSD.
- Experience with integrations, including REST APIs, import sets, and transform maps.
- Exposure to other Service Now modules, such as ITSM or CSM.
- Experience working in large, regulated enterprise environments.
