Key Responsibilities
- Proficient with IBM MQ on z/OS.
- Knowledge of how to configure and administer MQ in the z/OS platform.
- Installation, patching, configuring, and problem determination for IBM MQ on z/OS.
- Experience and capability in dealing with vendors for problem/incident determination.
- Use of SSL and management within the MQ environment.
- Proficient in data transfer to and from host systems.
- Configuring security, defining Queue Sharing Groups, gathering and analysing statistics and accounting data for performance tuning.
- Troubleshooting/Performance Tuning of Message Queue applications.
- Provide 24x7 on call support in addition to support out of hour changes as and when required.
