Responsibilities
- Producing high level designs for the next generation retail payments infrastructure.
- Researching best practices across payment systems and comparable systems and distilling insights into strategic recommendations.
- Engaging with industry to understand their needs, processes and journeys.
- Designing end-to-end user journeys.
- Producing papers to share thinking and gain buy-in for positions from internal and external boards/forums.
- Partnering with members of the Retail Payment Innovation Board Design Authority and the Delivery Company to ensure that work aligns with the initiative's overall goals.
- Proven ability to communicate and gain buy-in for ideas and approaches.
- Proven ability to analyse complex problems, break them into constituent pieces, and make recommendations based on analysis.
- Proven ability to set out competing choices, evaluate their pros and cons against public policy drivers and make recommendations based on agreed strategy.
