Role:
- Customer facing Test Lead role, tasked with the responsibility of leading the test effort on one or more Oracle Retail modules.
- Involves fronting a part of the testing engagement, along with planning, estimation, and remediation of issues that impede the test effort.
Must Have Skills:
- Years' testing experience in Oracle Retail, especially in RMS.
- Ability to plan, create and execute test scenarios, cases for Oracle Retail.
- Good understanding of Oracle Retail in general.
- Strong functional understanding of the Retail Industry.
- Good SQL query skills to query on databases via a SQL query tool such as SQL Developer.
- Understanding of overall applications integration layout.
- Good communication skills.
- Highly self-motivated.
Beneficial Skills:
- Experience with QA Complete Test Management Tool.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the appropriate planning and management of the test resources.
- Assessing and effectively reporting the progress and effectiveness of the test effort.
- Advocating the appropriate level of quality by the resolution of important defects.
- Tracking and preparing the report of testing activities like test results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status, performance baselines etc.
- Preparing/updating the metrics dashboard at the end of a phase or at the completion of the project and reporting back to the Sr. Test Manager.
- Ensuring content and structure of all Testing documents/artifacts is documented and maintained.
- Escalating issues about project requirements (Software, Hardware, Resources) to Project Manager/Sr. Test Manager.
- Sending Status Report (Daily, Weekly etc.) to the Sr. Test Manager/Client.
Qualifications: Should be eligible to work in the UK.
