Infinity Energy Services is a fast-growing renewable energy company specialising in the design and installation of commercial and residential solar PV and battery storage systems. Our mission is to help businesses and homeowners transition to clean, sustainable energy solutions. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our installation team in the role of Electrical Team Leader / Supervisor.

In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of renewable energy systems including solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging points. You will also provide day-to-day technical support to our electricians and office teams, assisting with job checks, and helping complete electrical surveys. We operate across Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Berkshire, and Sussex, and the successful candidate can be based anywhere within these regions and expect radius based on home location.

About the Role

  • Install and maintain domestic and commercial solar PV systems
  • Install and commission battery storage units and EV chargers
  • Carry out system checks, diagnostics, and fault-finding
  • Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards
  • Accurately complete installation paperwork and reports
  • Represent the company professionally on site and with clients
  • Conduct electrical surveys for upcoming installations
  • Support the office and electrical team with day-to-day technical queries and fault-finding support
  • Review upcoming jobs to ensure correct equipment and time allocation
  • Allocate helper or additional support where required

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a qualified electrician
  • Experience with renewable energy installations preferred (training can be provided)
  • ECS Card (Gold preferred)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • A team-focused mindset with a coaching approach to supporting others
  • A customer-first attitude and professional approach on site
