We are seeking an experienced Freelance Solar PV Surveyor to carry out site surveys for domestic and commercial Solar PV installations.
You will be responsible for completing accurate on-site surveys to support system design, compliance, and installation planning. This is a freelance, self-employed role with regular work available within Dorset/Somerset/Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire and Wiltshire.
Key responsibilities:- Conduct on-site Solar PV surveys (roof and electrical)
- Assess roof condition, orientation, shading and access
- Collect accurate measurements, photos and technical data
- Produce clear survey reports for design and install teams
- Liaise with customer on site, discussing requirements and feasibility
- Previous experience surveying Solar PV Installations
- Strong understanding of Solar & battery systems
- Knowledge of MCS standards and relevant regulations
- Ability to identify electrical and structural constraints
- Own transport and survey equipment
- Reliable, detail-orientated and customer focused
