Infinity Employment is recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Waterlooville.
This is a fantastic temp-to-permanent opportunity for someone with previous experience within manufacturing, electrical/electronic assembly or a similar hands-on production environment.
This is a fantastic temp-to-permanent opportunity, working 37.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday, at £12.90 per hour.
The Role
Working as part of the production team, you will be involved in the assembly of motors and associated electrical and electronic components.
Your duties will include
- Assembly of motors and electrical/electronic components
- Soldering electrical connections, wires, terminals and PCB components
- Working with PCBs, wiring looms and connectors
- Basic electrical testing and inspection of completed assemblies
- Identifying and reporting any defects or quality issues
- Basic mechanical assembly using hand tools
- Working from engineering drawings and assembly instructions
- Completing production records using Microsoft Excel and Share Point
- Ensuring work is completed to a high standard of quality
Experience required
- Previous manufacturing, electrical or electronic assembly experience
- Practical soldering experience
- Experience working with PCBs/electronic components
- Good attention to detail
- Good manual dexterity and practical hands-on skills
- Ability to follow drawings and work instructions
- Basic mechanical assembly experience
- Basic computer/Excel skills
- A reliable and positive approach to work
