Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance & Reach Forklift Driver
Infinity Employment are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing distributor of metals and plastics, supplying high-quality materials including aluminium, stainless steel, acrylic, PVC and copper to customers across the aerospace, marine and engineering industries.

Location: Havant Job Type: Full-time (Temp to Perm -12 week reduced to 4 weeks for the right person) Salary: £13.15 per hour (increasing upon successful permanent placement)
Key Responsibilities
- Operating both Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading deliveries.
- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders accurately.
- Moving stock throughout the warehouse.
- Booking goods in and out using warehouse systems.
- Carrying out stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Ensuring products are stored safely and correctly.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Working closely with colleagues to meet daily operational targets.
Experience
- Valid Counterbalance and Reach Forklift licences (essential).
- Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Experience handling long-length materials or metal products would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking with an excellent work ethic.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
