Infinity Employment are seeking a Fitter’s Mate to work with an industry leading signage, printing and acrylic fabrication company, manufacturing signs and displays predominantly for the retail sector. They are currently looking for a Sign Fitter's Mate with a passion for precision and quality craftsmanship to join their existing installation team. The ideal candidate must be polite, punctual, reliable, well-presented and friendly as you will be customer facing on occasion. It would suit someone with practical manufacturing, fitting, electrical, construction, or installation experience. You must be able to get to Horndean site every morning, where you will either be paired with a Sign Fitter for the day or stay and assist in our factory. This role will include overnight stays on a regular basis, usually Monday and Tuesday a few times per month. Expenses and accommodation will be provided.

- Salary OTE: £35,000 includes overtime and travel – Consistent for the past 2 years
- £27,000 Basic
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead sign fitter with installing various signage types (internal and external)
- Assemble components using various hand tools and equipment ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Load/unload materials and prepare tools and equipment for site work
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Help maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Travel to different sites (local and national) early starts, overtime and overnight stays are required
- Support with general workshop tasks when not on site
- Comfortable with working at heights
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within a building trade / signage
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
- Multi skilled
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Qualifications:
- CSCS Card
- Clean driving licence (Held for 2 years and over 25 for our insurance)
- IPAF, PASMA (Desirable)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in engineering, building trades, mechanical fitting are advantageous but not essential.
