We’re looking for an experienced, friendly and reliable freelance Barista to support one of our London locations on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming experience for members, guests and visitors, takes pride in preparing high-quality coffee, and is confident working independently during busy morning periods. The successful candidate will work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30am to 12:30pm and will invoice us directly for hours worked.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and other hot drinks.
- Deliver a warm, professional and welcoming service to members, guests and visitors.
- Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented coffee area.
- Manage stock levels during service and flag any shortages to the relevant team member.
- Follow food hygiene, health and safety, and cleanliness standards at all times.
- Support the wider building/community team in creating a positive experience within the space.
- Handle the morning coffee service efficiently and confidently.
About you
We’re looking for someone who has:
- At least 2 years’ experience working as a Barista.
- Strong coffee-making skills, including espresso-based drinks and milk texturing.
- A friendly, approachable and professional manner.
- Excellent reliability and punctuality.
- The ability to work independently and stay calm during busy periods.
- Good attention to detail and pride in presentation.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to support the wider team where needed.
- Previous experience in hospitality, coworking, members’ clubs, hotels or serviced office environments would be beneficial.
Contract details
This is a freelance role. The successful candidate will be responsible for submitting invoices for hours worked and managing their own tax, National Insurance and other statutory obligations. Working hours are: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:30am–12:30pm.

- One-hour trial at one of our London locations, if successful after the initial call.
