A typical week for an Installation Coordinator could look like this:
- Planning and managing the end-to-end installation process for physically large and technically complex measurement equipment at globally located semiconductor manufacturing sites and research centres
- Coordinating across internal teams — including engineering, logistics, and service — to ensure installations are delivered on time and to specification
- Acting as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the installation lifecycle, keeping them informed and managing expectations
- Proactively identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts, site readiness issues, or logistical challenges before they become problems

- Travelling to customer sites when required to oversee and support critical installations
Who we are looking for:
To succeed as an Installation Coordinator, we do need you to have experience of:
- Coordinating and managing complex equipment installations, ideally within a high-technology, industrial, or semiconductor environment
- Working directly with customers throughout a project lifecycle, ensuring their satisfaction at every stage
- Organising and prioritising multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines
- Collaborating closely with engineering and logistics teams to plan and execute installation programmes
- Producing clear installation documentation, schedules, and status reports
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with semiconductor capital equipment or precision measurement systems
- Experience working in a fast-growing, scale-up environment
- Understanding of site preparation requirements for large or complex equipment
- Exposure to ERP or project management tools
Education / Qualifications:
An engineering, technical, or project management qualification, or a clear equivalent path through relevant industry experience. A formal project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP) would be advantageous but is not essential.
We look for these attributes in our team:
- Self-management: Able to work independently, setting priorities for own work based upon company goals and targets
- Teamwork: Engages with other members of the company to bring the best solutions to the problem. Recognises the value that fellow company members bring and supports colleagues when critical to company goals
- Impact and Influence: Establishes themselves as the trusted point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders throughout the installation process
