Working closely with engineering, manufacturing, customer support and applications teams, you'll investigate challenging system issues, drive root cause analysis and help ensure our customers achieve exceptional performance from our technology.

If you enjoy understanding how entire systems behave rather than focusing on a single discipline, we'd love to hear from you.

  • What you'll be doing
  • Become the hardware escalation expert
  • Acting as an escalation point for complex hardware and system issues
  • Supporting customer-facing teams with advanced troubleshooting
  • Diagnosing problems across mechanical, optical and electronic subsystems
  • Driving rapid resolution of critical customer issues
  • Solve challenging system-level problems
  • Investigating performance issues across highly integrated precision systems
  • Reproducing and analysing customer-reported faults
  • Understanding interactions between hardware, software and environmental influences
  • Working closely with control systems specialists to resolve cross-disciplinary issues
  • Lead root cause investigations
  • Performing detailed failure analysis and technical investigations
  • Identifying corrective and preventative actions
  • Working with engineering teams to implement design improvements
  • Driving improvements to system robustness and reliability
  • Support manufacturing and product development
  • Working alongside manufacturing and integration teams
  • Troubleshooting issues during assembly and system test
  • Supporting new product introduction activities
  • Contributing to system validation, training and technical documentation
  • Capture and share technical knowledge
  • Developing troubleshooting procedures and diagnostic workflows
  • Creating best-practice documentation
  • Delivering training to customer support and applications teams
  • Ensuring lessons learned are translated into improved products and processes
