Installation Project Manager – Semiconductor Equipment
£40,000 – £50,000 + EMI Share Options + Private Healthcare + Pension
Are you experienced in delivering complex installations of high-value technical equipment?
We're looking for an Installation Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination and execution of advanced semiconductor metrology system installations at customer sites around the world.
This is a highly visible role at the intersection of customers, engineering, logistics and field service. You'll own the installation lifecycle from initial planning through to customer sign-off, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.

What you'll be doing
- Managing end-to-end installation projects for advanced semiconductor metrology systems
- Coordinating engineering, logistics, production and service teams to deliver installations on time and to specification
- Acting as the primary customer contact throughout the installation lifecycle
- Creating and managing installation schedules, resource plans and project documentation
- Identifying and resolving site readiness, logistics and project delivery risks
- Tracking project milestones and maintaining clear communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting critical customer installations on-site when required
- Driving continuous improvement across installation processes and customer delivery

Essential experience
- Managing or coordinating complex equipment installation projects
- Working directly with customers throughout a project lifecycle
- Delivering multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities
- Collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, logistics and support teams
- Producing project schedules, documentation and progress reports
- Strong organisational, stakeholder management and communication skills
Nice to have
- Semiconductor equipment or semiconductor metrology experience
- Site preparation and facilities planning experience
- ERP, project management or resource planning systems
- Experience within a scale-up or high-growth technology business
- Knowledge of customer acceptance and equipment handover processes
- PRINCE2, PMP or similar project management certification
Qualifications
- Engineering, Technical or Project Management qualification

- Equivalent experience gained through delivering complex technical projects in industry
