A typical week for an Installation Operations Lead could look like this:

  • Planning and managing the end-to-end installation process for large and technically complex measurement equipment at globally located semiconductor manufacturing sites and research centres
  • Coordinating across internal teams — including engineering, logistics, and service — to ensure installations are delivered on time and to specification
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the installation lifecycle, keeping them informed and managing expectations
  • Identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts, site readiness issues, or logistical challenges before they become problems
  • Maintaining accurate records of installation progress, documentation, and customer sign-off
  • Travelling to customer sites when required to oversee and support critical installations

Who we are looking for:

To succeed as an Installation Operations Lead, we do need you to have experience of:

  • Coordinating and managing complex equipment installations, ideally within a high-technology, industrial, or semiconductor environment
  • Engaging with customers throughout a project lifecycle
  • Organising and prioritising multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines

  • Understanding of site preparation requirements for large or complex equipment
  • Exposure to ERP or project management tools

Education / Qualifications:

An engineering, technical, or project management qualification, or a clear equivalent path through relevant industry experience. A formal project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP) would be advantageous but is not essential.

We look for the five Cs from our colleagues:
