Position Overview
Would you like to be instrumental in enabling the next generation of semiconductor devices? As a Product Manager, you’ll own the direction, positioning, and performance of our advanced AFM-based metrology products. Working at the intersection of customers, market insight, and engineering, you’ll translate complex technical needs into a clear and commercially strong product strategy. About the role
As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for creating clear, compelling sales materials, presentations, brochures, and go-to-market strategies that bring new product value to life for technical and commercial audiences. A typical day for a Product Manager could look like this:
- Defining and evolving the product roadmap based on customer insight and market trends
- Working closely with engineering teams to shape features and technical direction
- Engaging directly with customers to understand use cases and translate these into product requirements
- Analysing competitor activity and positioning Infinitesima products clearly in the market
- Supporting sales with technical input, proposals, and customer-facing materials
- Prioritising opportunities to maximise commercial and strategic impact
- Managing product lifecycle activities from concept through to end-of-life
Who we are looking for
To succeed as a Product Manager, we’re looking for someone from an applications or product management or sales background with the following skills and experience:
- Product management, applications, or technical sales within semiconductor, AFM, or related scientific instrumentation
- Experience with AFM or nanoscale measurement technologies OR exposure to semiconductor metrology or advanced instrumentation markets
- Developing and owning product roadmaps in a commercial environment
- Translating customer needs into clear, structured product requirements
- Working cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and operations
- Building credibility with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Analysing data and market insight to inform product decisions
- Managing competing priorities and delivering outcomes at pace
Nice to have:
- Experience contributing to go-to-market strategy or pricing
Education / Qualifications
Degree (or equivalent experience) in Physics, Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
