Reporting to the Worldwide Applications Director (based in Abingdon, UK), this person will support customers in the application of Infinitesima products, solving problems and developing methods to demonstrate the capability of our technology at its best. It will require close working with industry experts to understand their current and future requirements. The perfect role for someone looking to use their technical knowledge of probe microscopy in a customer facing role with an exciting scale up business.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary customer contact for applications of Infinitesima products
- Support the customer in data collection and method development by understanding their applications and optimising the system and recipe parameters
- Drive applications projects to meet customer requirements
- Present the product and associated results to customers in a professional way
- Trouble shoot application performance to diagnose system operation and set-up issues
- Support business development, through running samples, presenting data, writing reports, conference presentations and other means
Qualifications
- Master’s degree/PhD in physical sciences, engineering or equivalent
- High level of technical expertise in probe microscopy (AFM)
- Ideally knowledge of the Semiconductor industry and/or metrology
- Previous sales support experience desirable, ideally working with analytical instrumentation
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Right to live and work in the US
