Infinite are continuing to partner with a global FMCG business that specialises in a premium product, we are looking to speak with OpEx Managers in and around Hereford with a strong lean manufacturing background.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of the IWS journey at the manufacturing site. Accountable for driving performance improvements, reducing losses and building total colleague engagement.
- Performance Optimisation: Deliver breakthrough improvements in OEE, minimise downtime and ensure adherence to production schedules using lean methodologies. Identify key losses and capability gaps to maintain site Master and 90 Day Plans.
- Coaching & Engagement: Provide hands on coaching to line teams during Daily Direction Setting (DDS) to resolve issues and set priorities. Foster a culture of engagement through site values, feedback and action plans.
- Technical Problem Solving: Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for chronic shop floor issues using structured tools like fishbone diagrams and the 5 Whys. Oversee SME certifications and next phase site accreditations.
Requirements:
- Sector Expertise: Strong background in food manufacturing or FMCG environments with a deep understanding of production processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Proven experience in lean systems (IWS preferred, Lean Six Sigma essential).
- Core Skills: Advanced analytical skills, budget management experience and the ability to influence cross functional teams at all levels.
