Lead Business Analyst - Sonata Inside IR35: £425 per day
Location: Edinburgh – Hybrid Working
What You'll Do:
- Perform Business Analysis roles on Business and Technology Transformation Programmes, helping Insurance clients achieve their strategic and operational goals.
- Gather, prioritise, analyse, specify, and validate requirements, including the facilitation and co-ordination of user workshops.
- Effectively define problem/scope, gather/analyse data, structure recommendations, and deliver compelling presentations to clients.
- Work across the full project life‑cycle, demonstrating knowledge of waterfall and agile (Scrum) methodologies.
- Bridge the gap between business and technical requirements, appreciating both equally.
- Proactively establish and build strong working relationships and effectively manage senior stakeholders in a matrix environment.
Essential Experience And Skills:
- Experience in IT, specifically in Life and Pensions.
- In-depth experience with Sonata RDA – the policy administration system.
- Capability to test and validate cases effectively within the system.
- Ability to support engineers with queries, including demonstrating how queries appear in RDA.
- Proficiency in API mapping.
- Proven ability to work at pace within a small team environment.
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
- Confidence to speak up and seek clarification when uncertain.
- Experience of proactively building and winning the trust of relevant business/IT stakeholders.
