The Role

As a Visual Merchandising expert, you will be responsible for the execution of seasonal and campaign guidance across all retailers within your territory. You will take accountability for branded spaces in our client's portfolio, driving performance and commercial gains whilst successfully reporting back your impacts and findings. The right candidate would maintain strong partnerships with retailers to understand the store's needs, enabling the opportunity to influence creative decision making that impacts brand visibility throughout the store.

Communication

  • Regular documented feedback and imagery of in-store VM achievements to project management team via in-house reporting tool and Microsoft Teams software.
  • Build strong relationships with retail management and in-store colleagues to cascade information given by project management through 1:1 coaching and regular store walkthroughs.
  • Participate in team meetings and conference calls to understand client briefs and give detailed store escalations to project management.
  • Capture shop floor insight in a concise, realistic and timely manner hitting reporting deadlines and expectations.

Merchandising Display

  • Drive layout decisions in store, liaising with in-store point of contact, utilising directives and retailer stock availability.
  • Take ownership of VM standards providing an on-brand shopping experience to all consumers.
  • Create impactful Shop-In-Shop consumer experiences emphasising category presentation.
  • Implement flawless execution of Marketing activities aligned with clients' asks.

VM Development

  • Attend VM team meetings and any additional product training sessions.
  • Involvement in development opportunities as requested by Project Management.
  • Quarterly showroom set up support if requested.
  • Participation in ad-hoc projects; new store openings and resets across all concept stores.

VM Hours

Basic hours to be completed between Monday to Friday, 5 days/week, with occasional weekend work. Hours to be flexible in line with campaign launches, planned layout changes and out of store opportunities.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • High IT skills across the Microsoft suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in English.
  • Good numeracy, literacy, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Geographical mobility across the territory.
  • Full UK driving license.

Pre-requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications

2-year dedicated VM regional experience (ideally in apparel).
