This position is for a mechanically inclined person who must be able to perform all duties of a Pool Maintenance Technician position and Opening Crew Leader.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing basic repairs to the pool and surrounding areas, including deck and minor cement patches.
- Conducting Deck‑o‑Seal, tile and coping repairs.
- Repairing and replacing underground leaks and lines; replacing a pool skimmer or coring a pool wall.
- Starting pools on openings and performing all duties of Opening Crew Leader and Pool Maintenance Technician.
- Closing pools for the winter.
- Making minor repairs to the system and pool.
- Running a computer water test.
- Replacing equipment such as pumps, filters, multiport valves, suction manifolds, assorted valves, and system piping.
- Swimming or diving in a pool to make minor patches to the pool surface and assisting in pressure checks of pool lines.
- Dye testing pool shell for leaks (light switch, wall fitting, cracks in the shell, main drain cups, hydrostatic relief plugs, etc.).
- Measuring all new liner replacements, spa cover, and winter safety covers.
- Measuring all safety fence jobs.
- Making and diagnosing any and all repairs to all filter systems including pump, filters, heaters, and ancillary equipment such as ozonators, salt generators, chlorinators, all piping, plumbing, valves, manifolds; diagnosing and repairing all electronic controls.
- Performing all new pool start‑up and indoctrinations.
- Helping with estimates and sales.
- Assisting the customer service representative by speaking to customers with technical questions in the office and on the road.
Requirements:
- Must have own tools (company provides service truck).
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Knowledge of plumbing.
Benefits include Annual Bonus, 401K Employer Contribution, and Medical Insurance Reimbursement of $200 per month. Compensation: $35.00 per hour.
