This is a high visibility role partnering senior technology leadership on investment decisions that shape how the firm builds, buys and scales its AI capability.
You will sit at the centre of the conversation between finance and engineering, translating technical roadmaps into commercial reality and holding the line on returns.
What you will be doing:

- Owning budgeting, forecasting and long range planning for a substantial technology cost base
- Building the business case discipline around AI investment: platform spend, cloud and infrastructure costs, licensing, product development and headcount
- Challenging assumptions on ROI, payback and total cost of ownership, and holding stakeholders to them post investment
- Providing insight on cost drivers, capitalisation, run versus change spend and unit economics
- Supporting M&A, vendor negotiations and strategic sourcing decisions where finance input is material

- Minimum 3 to 5 years post qualified experience in a senior business partnering capacity
- Demonstrable track record supporting Technology, Engineering, Product or AI teams
- Experience gained within a large, global, matrixed organisation with the complexity that brings
- Genuine commercial voice: comfortable challenging senior technical stakeholders and being challenged in return
