About Infinian
At Infinian, we are pioneers in real-time credit intelligence. We provide the financial services industry with highly predictive, alternative data solutions that transform how lenders, fintechs, and collections teams operate. By leveraging our real-time data and insights, our clients enhance traditional bureau data to make sharper, faster, and more compliant decisions.
The Role
We are seeking an ambitious, high-performing Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our enterprise client base. In this strategic quota-carrying role, you will be the commercial engine behind our three core solutions. You will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing high-value deals with lenders, banks, fintechs, telcos and utility providers, acting as a trusted advisor to help them optimise their credit risk, affordability, and collections strategies.
The Core Solutions You Will Champion
- Spark (Predictive Risk Insights): Traditional Credit Reference Agency (CRA) checks are blind to consumer behavioural activity in the last month. Spark utilises Infinian’s real-time application data to reveal early behavioral patterns. You will sell Spark to lenders looking to spot hidden risks faster, detect synthetic identities, and cut wasted credit check costs right at the start of the application stack.
- Illuminate (Advanced Affordability): Illuminate allows lenders to unlock new opportunities and increase acceptance rates by lending to new customer segments. You will position this solution to clients needing personalised affordability assessments that reduce manual underwriting while ensuring strict regulatory compliance through explainable, proprietary benchmarked data.
- Signal (Smarter Contact Insights): Built for Collections & Recoveries teams, Signal eliminates the time wasted on outdated contact information. You will sell Signal as a light-touch, high-value alternative to full-scale tracing, providing clients with the most recent and reliable customer contact details (driven by recency and frequency metrics) to drastically improve right-party contact rates.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Generation: Own the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation, prospecting to close. Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets by selling Spark, Illuminate, and Signal to mid-market and enterprise accounts.
- Strategic Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust, high-quality pipeline. Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue projection using our CRM.
- Consultative Selling: Conduct deep discovery sessions with Heads of Credit Risk, Operations Managers, and Collections Directors to understand their pain points and position Infinian’s data solutions as the clear answer.
- Market Strategy: Develop and execute a targeted Go-To-Market strategy for your assigned verticals. Identify emerging market trends and regulatory shifts to capitalise on new business opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the D&A, Technology and Operations teams to optimise messaging, feedback market requirements, and ensure seamless client onboarding.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven Track Record: 3+ years of B2B enterprise sales experience, consistently hitting or exceeding commercial targets.
- Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of the financial services sector, specifically selling into Credit Risk, Collections, Operations, or Fraud teams. Experience selling data, credit reference products, or FinTech SaaS is highly desirable.
- Complex Deal Execution: Demonstrated ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and negotiate six-figure contracts.
- Value-Led Approach: Strong capability to sell on value and ROI rather than just features, with the ability to translate technical data capabilities into clear business outcomes.
- Self-Starter Mentality: Highly proactive, resilient, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, scaling, and agile environment.
About Us: Working at Infinian
We are a small, ambitious data technology company. Our entire business is data: we buy, enrich, and sell highly predictive credit intelligence, delivered to clients via API or data extract. We are a tight-knit team, which means every person has real impact, genuine ownership of their domain, and a direct hand in our commercial growth. The sales team sits at the commercial frontier of the business. While our Data and Engineering teams build the powerful pipelines that fuel our platform, Sales takes that immense value to market. We own the revenue engine, build and manage the enterprise pipeline, and are responsible for driving the commercial success of our core solutions; Spark, Illuminate, and Signal. We bridge the gap between our world-class data capabilities and the lenders who need them, acting as the driving force that propels the business forward.
We are All in. Together.
A small team achieving great things means everyone pulls in the same direction. We collaborate seamlessly with product, data, and engineering to feed market insights back into the business. We help each other, strategise on complex deals together, and care about Infinian’s collective success as much as our individual quotas.
Get After It.
We move with purpose and take initiative, we don't wait for perfect market conditions, a flawless deck, or inbound leads. We proactively hunt for opportunities, get in front of decision-makers, aggressively navigate obstacles in the sales cycle, and refine our pitch as we learn from the market. We care about impact, not just activity. We value closed revenue, high-quality pipeline, and long-term client ROI over simply logging calls or padding a CRM. Our clients rely on our solutions to make critical financial decisions, so we hold ourselves to a high standard in how we consult and negotiate; just pitching features is not enough, we sell business outcomes.
We take ownership.
Every person here is Infinian. Because Sales is the face of the business, how you show up, the integrity you bring to every client interaction and the trust you build with them reflect on the entire team. You own your vertical, your targets, and the end-to-end client relationship.
