Key responsibilities in your new role:
- Python Development: Design, code, and debug robust, scalable, and reusable test scripts for product validation.
- Lab Equipment Control: Interface with and control lab test equipment via SCPI and PyVISA protocols.
- Automation Framework: Architect and manage lab automation systems to enhance efficiency for engineers and technicians.
- Data Analysis: Implement machine learning algorithms to analyze and validate large datasets automatically.
- Test Optimization: Use AI techniques to reduce test times, focusing on critical scenarios and corner cases.
- Predictive Maintenance: Develop models to monitor lab equipment operational data to flag potential failures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Application Engineers to align testing and validation requirements.
Your Profile:
- Education: BSEE or MSEE in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- Python Proficiency: Expertise in Python for hardware interfacing and test automation.
- Lab Skills: Experienced using oscilloscopes, function generators, and network analyzers for debugging.
- Machine Learning Knowledge: Familiarity with libraries like Scikit-learn, Pandas, TensorFlow is a plus.
- Version Control: Comfortable using Git for repository management.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a self-starter attitude.
- Soft Skills: Effective communication skills for both written documentation and team collaboration.
Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate:
- Bachelor's Degree – Minimum $69,920 per year, Maximum $87,400 per year.
- Master's Degree – Minimum $87,600 per year, Maximum $109,500 per year.
