This role will be able to design and develop test solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate effectively to ensure high-quality test solutions. This position requires proficiency in programming languages, experience with PCB design tools, and familiarity with digital and analog integrated circuit design environments.

Your Role

  • Test Planning and Development: Document test requirements, create test plans, and develop test methods.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with design and concept engineers to incorporate Design for Test (DfT) features into new products.
  • Test Hardware Development: Develop test hardware using Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools, leveraging pre-existing libraries for PCB templates and component symbols.
  • Test Program Development and Validation: Create test programs, convert Automatic Test Pattern Generation (ATPG) test patterns, integrate with test equipment and hardware, debug, and validate them on Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
  • Test Package Documentation and Release: Document and release test packages to volume production, supporting silicon characterization and qualification.
  • Test Optimization and Cost Reduction: Reduce test costs and improve the quality of existing test solutions through test method improvements and test platform transfers.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics, Physics, or Computer Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience developing production test solutions for mixed-signal ICs or modules using Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
  • Strong understanding of electronic engineering principles in areas including: Analog and digital circuits, Power devices, High-speed signal integrity, Statistics and data analysis.
  • Experience designing PCBs using schematic capture tools such as: ORCAD, Allegro.
  • Programming skills and experience in C/C++, Visual Basic.
  • Working experience with Teradyne ETS systems (highly desirable).
  • Hands-on experience making bench electrical measurements using: Signal generators, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum analyzers.
  • Knowledge of digital and analog IC design environment, pattern generation, and verification (a plus).
  • Demonstrated skills in: Problem-solving, Communications, Teamwork.
  • Strong understanding of test engineering principles and methodologies.
  • Experience with EDA tools and PCB design.
  • Knowledge of Automatic Test Pattern Generation (ATPG) and ATE systems.
  • Familiarity with test programming languages and software development.
  • Ability to analyze and optimize test processes to reduce costs and improve quality.
