Overview
Infiltrator Water Technologies (IWT) is a market leader within the onsite wastewater treatment industry. Infiltrator manufactures a variety of revolutionary products and innovative, environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional stone and pipe leachfield and concrete septic wastewater system components. IWT is a wholly owned subsidiary of Advanced Drainage Systems (ticker: WMS, NYSE).
The majority of our products are produced almost entirely from recycled resins. Infiltrator’s recycling operation is among the country’s top twenty producers and consumers of recycled resins and among only a few that consume 100% of that resin in the finished products produced. IWT has always and continues to compete on innovation; we hold over 200 patents.
Responsibilities
This role is key to our operations! We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Leader with heavy plastics knowledge to increase our market presence and reach.
Core responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing purchasing strategies
- Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers
- Negotiating prices and terms
- Maintaining strong relationships
- Monitoring market trends
- Managing inventory levels
- Overseeing the purchasing team
A successful candidate should have experience in the plastics industry, specifically polypropylene, polyethylene and PET , at least 10 years in material purchasing, strong analytical skills, and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. JDE E1 experience preferred.
