As a Technical Engineer, you’ll be the go-to expert for setting up and maintaining our LED screens in AV systems. This post-sales role is a mix of hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and customer interaction—so if you love AV tech and working with people, this job is for you!
Your job is all about making sure our LED solutions not only work flawlessly but also fit each client’s needs and budget. You’ll be the bridge between the tech side of INFiLED and the people using our products, helping them get the most out of our cutting-edge displays. You’ll work in a variety of settings, from corporate offices and entertainment venues to schools and government buildings, making sure everything runs seamlessly wherever our screens are in use.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the go-to tech expert, providing both remote and on-site support to INFiLED customers across the UK.
- Install, repair, and troubleshoot INFiLED’s LED screens.
- Train partners and end-users, making sure they get the most out of our products.
- Conduct proactive site visits, analyze performance, and suggest improvements.
- Gather valuable customer and partner feedback to share with our product and R&D teams.
- Keep detailed records of actions and solutions.
- Build strong relationships with customers while spotting opportunities for additional service sales.
- Set up and operate AV equipment for live events, meetings, and broadcasts to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Work closely with lighting engineers, IT teams, and other tech staff to seamlessly integrate AV systems.
- Provide hands-on support during events, from mic setup to video playback.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of AV equipment and systems/LED screens, including audio mixers, video projectors, displays, video conferencing tools, and control systems.
- Skilled at designing and recommending AV solutions that fit both technical specs and client needs.
- Knowledge of networking and IT integration.
- Great communicator who can present solutions clearly and connect with clients.
- Able to identify customer pain points and turn them into practical AV solutions.
- Strong problem-solver, capable of troubleshooting issues before and after a sale.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects at once, from the initial pitch to final delivery.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent proven experience of minimum 3 years in a Technical Customer (Service/Sales) environment.
- Good knowledge of hardware, software and LED technologies.
- Provides exceptional service with a strong client-focused approach.
- Available for frequent travel to clients in the UK and abroad.
