We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Nurse to join our pastoral and wellbeing team, providing high-quality healthcare and support to pupils within a school environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people, promoting physical and emotional wellbeing, early intervention, and health education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver day-to-day healthcare to students including first aid, management of chronic conditions, and emergency response
  • Monitor and support students with physical and emotional health concerns
  • Develop care plans for students with medical needs and liaise with parents, carers, and healthcare providers
  • Provide health education and promote healthy lifestyle choices across the school community
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure safeguarding policies are followed
  • Contribute to school policies on health, welfare, and safeguarding

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RGN, RSCN or RN Child) with valid NMC registration
  • Experience working with children or in a school/community setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Paediatric first aid (or willingness to complete)
  • Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
