We are looking for a caring and reliable Support Worker to support a young person with epilepsy and complex needs in the Maghull/Sefton area.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care
- Assist sensitively with personal care
- Support with epilepsy management and follow care plans
- Assist with communication, sensory needs and mobility
- Help with daily routines within the home and local community
- Maintain accurate notes and follow safeguarding procedures
Essential Requirements
- Strong English language skills (spoken and written) to ensure clear communication with the individual, family and professionals
- Experience supporting individuals with epilepsy
- Experience working with complex needs or learning disabilities
- Patient, caring and professional approach
- Ability to work independently and remain calm in challenging situations
Desirable Skills & Training
- Epilepsy rescue medication training
- Manual handling training

- Driving licence (advantage but not essential)
