We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Children’s Complex Carer to support a young client with complex health needs in their own home. This is a rewarding role that requires compassion, clinical competence, and a genuine passion for caring for children with additional medical needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, high-quality, child-centred care in the home environment
- Confidently manage and operate CPAP, BiPAP, oxygen therapy, suction equipment, and NG tube feeding
- Monitor and respond to the child’s clinical needs and changes in condition
- Support with daily routines, personal care, mobility, and developmental activities
- Work closely with families, supporting them with both emotional and practical care
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation of care provided
Essential Requirements:
- Experience in complex pediatric care
- Trained and competent in CPAP, BiPAP, oxygen therapy, suction, and NG tube feeding
- Compassionate, patient, and child-focused approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to undergo one)
- Relevant health and social care qualification (Level 2/3 preferred)
