We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Children’s Complex Carer to support a young client with complex health needs in their own home. This is a rewarding role that requires compassion, clinical competence, and a genuine passion for caring for children with additional medical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe, high-quality, child-centred care in the home environment
  • Confidently manage and operate CPAP, BiPAP, oxygen therapy, suction equipment, and NG tube feeding
  • Monitor and respond to the child’s clinical needs and changes in condition
  • Support with daily routines, personal care, mobility, and developmental activities
  • Work closely with families, supporting them with both emotional and practical care
  • Maintain clear, accurate documentation of care provided

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in complex pediatric care
  • Trained and competent in CPAP, BiPAP, oxygen therapy, suction, and NG tube feeding
  • Compassionate, patient, and child-focused approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to undergo one)
  • Relevant health and social care qualification (Level 2/3 preferred)
