Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior AI & Data Visualisation Consultant to join our growing consulting team. This is a client-facing leadership role for someone who combines excellent data visualisation and analytics skills with a strong understanding of modern AI technologies and data engineering. You'll work directly with senior stakeholders to understand complex business challenges, shape AI-enabled solutions, lead delivery teams and mentor consultants. You'll be equally comfortable discussing strategy with a CTO as you are building a proof of concept or reviewing a Python pipeline. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving difficult business problems, leading others and staying at the forefront of AI innovation.
What You’ll Do
- Lead client workshops to understand business challenges and translate requirements into practical AI, data and analytics solutions.
- Design, build and deliver high-quality dashboards and reporting solutions using Tableau and/or Power BI.
- Develop AI-enabled workflows, prototypes and client solutions using frontier models such as Claude (Anthropic), OpenAI and other emerging technologies.
- Build, optimise and maintain SQL queries, Python scripts and ETL/ELT pipelines to support scalable analytics solutions.
- Work with modern cloud data platforms including Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery and Microsoft Fabric.
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists and client stakeholders to deliver production-ready solutions.
- Present insights, recommendations and technical concepts confidently to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior business leaders.
- Mentor junior consultants, provide technical guidance and contribute to developing the capability of the wider team.
- Contribute to shaping new AI propositions, best practices and consulting methodologies as the business continues to grow.
- Stay at the forefront of AI developments, continuously exploring new technologies and identifying opportunities to create value for clients.
Ideal Profile
- Passionate about AI and actively working with tools such as Claude (Anthropic), OpenAI and other frontier models.
- A strong communicator who can simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Commercially aware, with the ability to balance technical excellence with practical business outcomes.
- Comfortable leading workshops, challenging assumptions and shaping solutions with clients.
- An experienced mentor who enjoys developing junior consultants and sharing knowledge across the team.
- Highly collaborative, working effectively across data engineering, analytics, AI and business teams.
- Curious and proactive, continually learning and staying up to date with the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
- Delivery-focused, taking ownership and pride in producing high-quality solutions.
- Adaptable and resilient, thriving in a fast-paced consulting environment where no two client engagements are the same.
